2. Discuss what I am going to do to achieve my goals.

I am using My Fitness Pal to track my calories and exercise. If you would to join me.  My username is horn5378. Friend me please!  I need more MFP buddies!

Last weeks plan:

Thursday: Upper Body and Swim (Yup!)
Friday: Run (Yup!)
Saturday: Hopefully Swim and Core (this is Ant’s 2nd birthday and we are having a party, so I have no idea if I am going to make the gym.  Also we have family in town.) (Didn’t have time)
Sunday: Off Day (Swam and Core)
Monday: Run (Yup and I added a Yoga class)
Tuesday: Lower Body and Swim (Yup!)
Wednesday: Run (Yup!)
Awesome week!!! I am so proud that I lost weight this week because my eating was not great but I was mindful of everything I put in my mouth.

This week’s plan:

Thursday: Swim and Upper Body
Friday: Run
Saturday: Swim and Core
Sunday: Off or Make up for Sat
Monday: Run and Yoga
Tuesday: Swim and Lower Body
Wednesday: Run

This week my focus is going to be more on my diet changes and going to bed earlier.  I have been doing great with eating a salad with lunch but at dinner if we are out I miss my evening salad.  Also, focus more on eating at home and eat few meals out.  The fact that I am not eating perfectly and still losing weight is great!  By the end of this I want to have developed great eating and exercise habits to last a lifetime.

3. Try to motivate others to join in on trying to lose weight 

Bloggers I follow that are participating: If you want to join in just leave me a comment, so I can follow your progress too!  It is amazing many of my friends and family are jumping on the weight loss train with me.  Right now DH, MIL, my mom, and bestie are on the weight loss path.  It is great to have such a great support system.

4. Post a (reasonably healthy) recipe that I’ve tried, a cooking tip, a new idea for working out for people to try, a photo update of my weight loss, or anything else I feel like sharing. 

I am going to take a picture next week and post it!  DH has been saying he is noticing the difference and I would like to say I notice the difference too.

On another not AF is still not here, today is CD 42 and still no signs she is coming.  With the exercise changes I think I have scared AF away.  At this point I am still not worried and actually enjoying the break, even though I would prefer a break from AF for a better reason.

  1. Unless you are DRASTICALLY low in cals and overall body weight, working out should’t delay AF by so much. It’s more likely a lack of certain needed hormones. :P

    Great job losing weight again this week!

    • I was low on calories for about 2 weeks when I first started MFP…I was on the wrong setting. I am calling my OB after I POAS again because I know they will ask. I am still not worried unless it happens again.
